About Us

DiscoveredLOGIC, LLC is a strategy consulting and training firm that serves clients in the United States and overseas.


Victor Prince is the Managing Director of DiscoveredLOGIC, LLC. He has 20+ years of experience in corporate and government leadership positions using and teaching advanced problem-solving techniques. He is also an award-winning management book author.


Victor was a consultant and case team leader for Bain & Company, a leading management consulting firm. He worked on and led strategy engagements with clients in the US, UK, France and Spain in a variety of industries. While at Bain, he was also a trainer in the Associate Consulting Training program, a two-week intensive session held annually to train new college hires from across all of Bain's global offices in all aspects of Bain's consulting methodology.


Most recently, Victor was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). In that role, he was a founding member of the team that built the new federal regulatory agency. He ran a division of 300+ staff and $100 million+ of budget that included human resources, finance, travel, procurement, facilities, security, information technology, equal employment opportunity, and the consumer complaint response center. As one of the nine senior-most executives of the 1300+ person Bureau, Victor served on the Executive Committee and other senior governance bodies of the CFPB.


Prior to that, Victor was a member of Washington DC Mayor Fenty's cabinet as the Director of CapStat, the performance accountability program to improve performance of the $10 billion local government. In that role, he also served as the coordinator ("czar") for the District's implementation of the $240 million in federal funding received from the 2009 Recovery Act. 


Victor was a Senior Director of Marketing & Analysis with Capital One responsible for internet marketing strategy. His team won a Center of Excellence award for success in web site strategy. Over his five years with Capital One, he also taught several sessions of a full day course on structured problem-solving and writing to Capital One associates.


Victor was head of marketing for Webs.com, a do-it-yourself website building property with over 20 million sites built.  In that role, he set up the email infrastructure and strategy, built a performance data dashboard, launched innovative advertising campaigns on Facebook and Google, and implemented the "test and learn" methodology in website and email marketing.  Webs.com was purchased for $117 million in 2011.   


Victor earned an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  While at Wharton, he served as Chair of the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly, the student government representing the 10,000+ students in Penn's twelve graduate and professional schools. He earned a BA in International Studies and Economics (magna cum laude) from American University in Washington DC.

In addition, Victor has served in volunteer community service roles, including as a mayorally-appointed member of the DC Police Complaints Board and as a pro-bono consultant to a non-profit community organization with Compass DC. He is also a regular contributor to Wharton Magazine and a member of Mensa.


Victor lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. When he is not consulting, speaking or writing, he is probably off hiking or biking a trail somewhere in the world.
